Amazon has lowered it shipping charge, thanks to Walmart’s free shipping policy

amazon has lowered it shipping charge thanks to walmarts free shipping policy

You don’t mess with Amazon! And it’s true in every form. Amazon has its own way of carving a niche out of all existing competitors and in past it has successfully defeated almost all of the rivals, and if that doesn’t work it simply acquires it.

It’s the second time that Amazon has lowered its free shipping minimum to $25; the charge was dropped in lieu to a free-shipping battle with its one of the most debonair rival, Walmart. In February, Amazon has lowered the minimum charge from $49 to $35.

In the month of January, Walmart has showered its customers with free two-day shipping that too without any subscription hassle, on order of minimum of $35. This clearly made Walmart more appealing than any other e-commerce portal. And this message was well received by Amazon, and has also come with same tactics lowering the shipping charge.

In a statement, Amazon has confirmed that “it recently lowered the minimum order amount” and “all orders with $25 or more of eligible items qualify for free shipping.”

Even though Amazon is trying really hard to wreck down its rival, Walmart still has an edge over Amazon as it offers free two-day shipping, while Amazon’s free shipping policy might take time of a week or more.
