IBM has announced that it’s Kubernetes-based Cloud private application platform will be made available to run on the company’s enterprise Cloud Managed Services (CMS). This will enhance its capabilities of enterprises to adopt container-based, cloud-native application models.

Many of the banks around the world, government organizations and airlines already rely on IBM Cloud Managed Services to manage enterprise applications on clouds that are rich in security. The new announcement will enable its CMS customers to increase their capabilities by being in sync with the Kubernetes-cloud private application platform. It is designed to swiftly create, modernize and use applications in the CMS. Clients will now get the benefits of the latest cloud-native DevOps powers of the IBM’s Cloud.

Combined with CMS’s built-in security, disaster recovery, and automated infrastructure, the clients will now have a powerful tool that will help with security, flexibility, and speed. The combination will allow the users to add PaaS capabilities to CMS. IBM Cloud is particularly used by companies in regulated industries like finance because it delivers high standards for security and reliability.

The Kubernetes-based Cloud private application running on the enterprise CMS will be made available in July.
