Newrow acquired by Kaltura

The video conferencing and collaboration platform, Newrow, has been acquired by Kaltura. Kaltura is a leading video cloud and the acquisition will help it expand its portfolio in the video conferencing and meeting solutions markets. The announcement was made by Kaltura at Kaltura Connect, its Video Experience Conference which happened at New Orleans.

Founded in 2016, Newrow is a company that is leading in the virtual classroom and video conferencing markets. The company is trusted by leading enterprises and educational institutions. Amongst its clients are Thomson Reuters, NAPA, Berlitz, NTT Data, Caterpillar, Microsoft’s TEALS program, University of South Florida and South College.

The merger of the two companies will bring to the market a new meeting experience that will find application in a range of use cases including internal collaboration, learning and training, external meetings and presentations.

Ron Yekutiel, Kaltura Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO said that the acquisition is kicking off an exciting year for the company.
