Arecont Vision is a US company with headquarters, R&D, manufacturing, and support in Glendale, California. Arecont Vision has contributed more to the development of megapixel (MP) camera technology for professional security applications than any other camera manufacturer.
“Our growing, worldwide installed base of hundreds of thousands of quality, Made in USA megapixel cameras supports a broad spectrum of surveillance applications and venues,” says the Co-founder and CEO of Arecont Vision, Michael Kaplinsky, Ph.D. Arecont Vision megapixel cameras are relied upon by customers every minute of every day.
Arecont Vision is exclusively focused on megapixel technology and, as the industry leader, it has contributed immensely to the advancement of megapixel imaging for professional security applications than any other company in the security market.
As a result of its best-in-class product architecture, the company typically introduces new imaging technology years ahead of competitors because it doesn’t have to wait until a new off-the-shelf ASIC is available. “We design our in-house developed Massively Parallel Image Processing (MPIP) architecture to run on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) integrated circuit at the heart of each camera we build,” explains the CEO.
The MPIP architecture helps to protect Arecont Vision cameras from misuse in cyber attacks while extending their useful life by enabling the application of new security and feature upgrades as they become available. This is a unique ability of Arecont Vision cameras and is of tremendous benefit to its customers. The unique architecture is now in its 5th generation.
For customers in the United States who are planning video surveillance camera purchases, Arecont Vision is the go-to choice as it is designed and built in the USA. Customers outside the United States can trust Arecont Vision for award-winning products and proven customer service worldwide for true Made in USA quality and innovation.
Arecont Vision offers the largest selection of professional-grade megapixel cameras available in the industry. The company product line includes H.264 and JPEG models in 1.2 to 40 megapixel and 4K models, available in various members of our MegaBall, MegaDome, MegaVideo, MegaView, MicroDome, MicroBullet, and multi-sensor SurroundVideo families.
