The ‘Care’-doted CEO – Aaron Duerksen

Aaron Duerksen was passionate about building a technology-enabled community care platform for that improved the lives of senior citizens. Well, he did it! Mr. Duerksen founded VIZI Healthcare – a technology-enabled system of care that provides clinical, operational, and financial integration to delegated risk providers focused on enhancing medical home performance under alternative payment models.

Prior to founding VIZI, Mr. Duerksen created a Population Health Management Practice for Cardinal Health and developed Pharmacist-led Patient Management Solutions. He was also the General Manager and a Senior Board Member at Care Innovations (an Intel-GE Healthcare venture). At Care, he led the Global Disease Management Business Team for digital health platforms and new care models supporting home-based early interventions. He also helped develop improved diagnostic centers in North America and China, while at GE Healthcare.

An alumnus of the Boston College, Mr. Duerksen was mentored by the GE Management Development Institute, Crotonville, NY. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt holder.
