Infor: Business Software that helps you Work Smarter

Infor builds business software for specific industries in the cloud. With 16,000 employees and over 90,000 customers in more than 200 countries and territories, Infor software is designed for progress. Its customers include global establishments like Bausch & Lomb, Ferrari, Heineken, Wyndham Hotels, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts, Boskalis, EBSCO, Legacy Health, and Best Western International.

Headquartered in New York City, Infor focuses on business applications for organizations and delivers via cloud computing as a service. Infor acquired over forty other software companies since its inception in 2002. The company had around 58 million cloud users as of July 2016, as well as around 90,000 corporate customers overall.

More than a Technology

Originally focused on software ranging from financial systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) to supply chain and customer relationship management, in 2010 Infor began to focus on software for industry niches, as well as user-friendly software design. Infor deploys its cloud applications through Amazon Web Services and various open source software platforms.

With Infor, customers can easily find the right solutions for every aspect of the business. “We build complete industry suites in the cloud and deploy software that puts the user experience first, leverages data science, and integrates easily with your existing systems,” explains the CEO of Infor, Charles Philip.

Over 90,000 organizations worldwide rely on Infor to help overcome market disruptions and achieve business-wide digital transformation. To drive perpetual innovation in the enterprise, Infor business applications are specialized by industry and built for the cloud to enable a global supply chain, networked analytics, and an artificial intelligence-led user experience.

Building Together

Infor is the third largest provider of enterprise applications and services, helping 90,000 customers across the globe to improve operations, drive growth, achieve speed as a competitive differentiator, and quickly adapt to changes in business demands. More importantly, the company has increasing momentum, earning the business of more than 2,000 new customers in the past year, with double-digit sales growth over the last three quarters.

The best part is, Infor is achieving its goals while holding fast to the principles on which it was established: customer service, teamwork, value, integrity, and a commitment to offer its customers industry-specific solutions at a total cost of ownership that is lower than what any of its competitors. “Infor is a dynamic, team-driven place to work, where solving business problems for customers is our top priority,” notes Philip.

Infor offers world-class solutions and professional services along with a challenging, performance-driven environment where results are recognized and rewarded. Also, it offers a competitive compensation package, a business casual environment, and exceptional employee benefits, and time-off programs. Infor is committed to actively seeking the best and brightest talent, including military veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life.

“We strive to make Infor a great company to do business with—and an awesome place to work,” says Philip. “We recruit passionate people, cultivate an inclusive work environment, and encourage volunteerism in our communities.” For instance, let’s take the Infor Services. It is a global team of more than 5,300 skilled experts trained to deliver quick, efficient implementations. With the Infor Services team, businesses are powered by the next generation of business technology.

Infor is a proud employer of US military veterans. It recognizes veterans’ discipline, integrity, and commitment to excellence as assets that will add significant value to the company. Infor has a proven path of advancement that respects the veteran’s commitment and leverages in their past experiences into a fulfilling future. It provides a camp for those who are ready to sign up for your next big accomplishment.

“We actively seek the best and brightest military talent, working with veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life to identify openings that will be a good fit for their specialized skills and knowledge. We also offer flexible scheduling so that our employees who are veterans can continue as active Reservists,” Philips adds.
