Ivanti: Unleashing the Power of Unified IT

In the modern market-driven world, technology plays a critical role in every business operation. Irrespective of the size of the enterprise, having the right IT infrastructure can channel an organization’s growth in the right direction. Moreover, with the rise of security threats and changing customer demands, an accurate technological infrastructure will help to fulfill every demand.

With the experience of more than 30 years, Ivanti helps build modern, user-centered IT organizations. The comprehensive solutions maximize user productivity and also reduce other IT complexities, risks, and costs for the business. Ivanti is changing the IT landscape by breaking down the silos with increased visibility, shared data, and automated processes.

Suite of Solutions

“There is no one individual product that has shaped today’s Ivanti product portfolio,” says Ivanti CEO and Chairman of the Board, Steve Daly. The Ivanti suite of solutions have been strategically collected and developed to fulfill the growing need to unify IT. The current solutions offered today stem from the company’s heritage from – Landesk and HEAT Software, which for nearly 30 years, offered IT solutions designed to increase user productivity while reducing IT security risk.

Over the years, both Landesk and HEAT companies changed. Landesk acquired companies like Wavelink, Shavlik, Xtraction Solutions, and AppSense. On the other hand, HEAT was formed by the combination of FrontRange and Lumension. A new identity was required to gather all these brands under one roof and thus, Ivanti was born. In this new journey, Concorde and RES have since joined the Ivanti family.

Moreover, Ivanti enables organizations to Discover all the IT assets on the network, while at the same time, it provides integrated dashboards and analytics to help Provide Insights to the state of the environment and on-going IT initiatives. Next, the company enables the IT to Take Action on the insights using integrated processes and technologies. On a larger landscape, this empowers IT to not only better support individuals, but also make the required organizational changes.

Building the Company

But a journey to design and develop a whole range of solutions is never an easy one. Speaking of the challenges faced while establishing the company, Daly recalls, “Bringing together the people and technologies from different organizations can be a challenge – and an immense opportunity.” It was on this opportunity that Ivanti capitalized, building on a collaborative culture that includes both the workforce and the customers. It’s an organization where customers are considered family with a significant say in the development and innovation of the company.

Moreover, the demands in the IT field have consistently changed and evolved with the dynamic needs of the business. Today, there’s a higher need for efficient IT as workforce mobility and digital transformation in workplaces have increased. Additionally, the lack of communication between tools and teams has shot up the risks and costs and has also slowed IT response. This leaves businesses exposed to increasing security threats. This is where Ivanti comes in with its vow to unify IT and security operations and is constantly working on improving it.

Sweet Taste of Success

Today, the company is the driving force behind the IT transformation of the digital workplace. With its next-generation software business, Ivanti primarily focuses on enabling the process, automation and shared data that unifies it operations, operational security and service management. This not only lowers IT risks, but also enables faster response times while also increasing user satisfaction. Ivanti’s relentless focus on customer value and benefits continue to drive product adoption success. This in turn, has resulted in the rapid growth over the past year where the company doubled in size with nearly $500 million in revenue, taking it closer to its goal to be a billion-dollar software company.

A Promise of Continuity

In the years to come, Ivanti will continue to develop solutions that support its mission to unify IT. From PCs to mobile devices, VDI and the data center, Ivanti will continue to further its ability to discover IT assets on-premises and in the cloud, improve IT service delivery, and reduce risk with insights and automation. The company has built a framework for new technology innovation and acquisition to drive long-term growth that is directly aligned with the needs of its customers.

“We will also continue to help to leverage modern technology in the warehouse and across the supply chain to improve delivery    without modifying backend systems,” adds Daly. At its heart, Ivanti has been architected to deliver the technologies and solutions companies need to solve their most pressing technology challenges.
