The media today has undergone monumental transformations that have shaped the modern society. The audio-visual medium combined with the new media and IoT devices carry immense power to influence the viewer. Additionally, the tech gears used to create a video have advanced tremendously. This is why many business organizations are making use of videos to get the message across.
Videos have also become an integral part of education as well. Today, using the visual medium in educational institutions has also changed how the students study and understand the educative material. Research studies have proved the high number of benefits of using videos for education. For one, there is a high retention power among the students after watching an educative video.
This is why Panopto is helping to create videos for business and universities. Panopto provides a platform that takes the easiest way to manage, live stream, record, and share videos across any organization. Simply put, Panopto makes video learning easy!
“We're video nerds. We spend our time thinking about codecs, containers, media pipelines, and speech recognition. Why? So that you never have to,” says Eric Burns, the chief executive officer of Panopto. The company is an easy-to-use all-in-one video platform. “With Panopto, you’ve got a single tool for video management, recording, live streaming, inside-video search, quizzing, analytics, mobile, and more.”
When it comes to video content management, Panopto securely centralizes and streams the voices. It then creates playlists, optimizes playback and measures the viewer engagement. Panopto’s video CMS is purpose-built for managing video content, making it easy for anyone in your organization to find and stream all of your video assets online. Best of all, Panopto integrates with your existing LMS, CMS, CRM, and other internal IT system.
Here are the steps in which Panopto works:
Capturing video feeds from any camera and any screen, including smartphones and tablets. Panopto even records videos from multiple feeds simultaneously. Panopto proudly notes that it is the only video presentation software that can handle virtually any recording task. It doesn’t matter how simple or complex it may be. If you’re a first-time user, it’s made easy for you to be up and running in minutes. At the same time, it’s powerful enough for AV teams to stream professional-quality, multi-camera presentations.
There are live broadcasting and webcasting with Panopto. The company can broadcast to ten viewers or ten thousand, with just a click and delivers professional-grade live streaming. With Panopto, you can securely live stream your video to any web browser without the need for special software. It doesn’t matter if you’re webcasting an international conference to tens of thousands, or just a weekly meeting for a dozen teammates, Panopto makes it easy to set up and share a professional quality live webcast.
If you’re looking for that one particle word that was spoken or shown in a video, you can search across the entire video library and inside videos for it. Panopto helps the viewers find exactly what they’re looking for without tagging the videos. Panopto has developed a Smart Search that automatically indexes every word spoken or shown on-screen. This enables the viewers to find and fast-forward to the exact moment in videos where their search was mentioned. Whether the video was created with Panopto or not, every video uploaded to a user’s video portal is searchable.
With Panopto, you can connect your video library into your LMS, CMS, SSO, internal portals, and a whole lot more. Some of the platforms where you can easily integrate with Panopto are SharePoint, Salesforce, Jive, Saba, BlueJeans, Canvas, Blackboard, Universal Capture Spec, and more.
You can put your entire video library in your pocket with native apps and automatic device detection from Panopto. When anything says “Support mobile video,” it should mean more than just offering picture-in-picture playback. With Panopto’s mobile video platform, users can easily record videos, schedule new recordings, approve new videos, search your entire video library, and share videos all from your smartphone or tablet.
The entire team at Panopto is out there to aid and help for the initial implementation, training, ongoing technical support, and anything else where help is required. For three years running, Panopto has earned a 99% customer satisfaction rating. The team members are always there to help with any initial implementation, training, ongoing technical support, and more. Moreover, there is real support from real people, with standard in every license. Panopto has an additional 99.6% satisfaction rate to prove it.
