We provide a complete virtual computing environment for small and medium sized businesses: Zypha Corporation

Many IT departments are tasked with managing applications across a multitude of cloud platforms with complex IT architectures. They are also responsible to assess their current private cloud infrastructure to ensure that it meets the goals of their business. Truth be told, this is by no means easy.

Zypha was established in 2008 as a full service private cloud provider to small and medium sized businesses (SMB’s); Zypha moves all customer applications and data to its secure, company-owned private cloud in the Zypha Data Center in Tampa. Zypha’s vision is to be a facilitator in migrating the IT needs of SMB’s to the cloud, to provide more redundancy, more security, more uptime and more productivity. SMB’s can thereby focus on what they know best – their business - and not have to try and be experts in IT as it is not their core competence or reason why they are in business.

Clients simply use an encrypted Internet gateway to access their highly secure Zypha desktop which includes all of their programs, databases, and company files, from any device, anywhere in the world! Gone forever are the dangers and high-cost of having servers in-house. Back in the late 1800’s, companies invested in power generation equipment, spare parts and expert labor to provide in-house power for production. Technology, through the emergence of power stations, made this investment redundant as factories could now just plug in for power and no longer had to worry about producing it. Zypha saw a similar revolution in the provision of IT for SMB’s, where technology advancement means SMB’s no longer have to invest in computer servers on premise, and expert labor. This can now be fully outsourced to the Zypha secure private cloud, enabling businesses to just ‘plug in’ and expect their whole IT infrastructure and service to be there.

The firm is a long term contractual partner as it offers efficiency, productivity gains, significantly enhanced security and lower costs to its clients located in and out of state, spanning a number of sectors, including professional services, non-profits, contracting and many others. Migration, if not planned comprehensively, can be disruptive, but the company has technical experts who are highly experienced and plan to migrate over a weekend so that the impact on a client’s business is minimal. Zypha sees itself as a service business delivering an unrivalled IT solution, so when client employees turn up to work on Monday, post migration, Zypha is there, on premise, to support and guide them! It is critical to have experts always on hand who can give confidence and build trust with prospects and clients.

Open communication between all employees and consultants in Zypha is part of the culture as everyone is contributing to the future success of the company. “Our management experience will help us be more aware of how this can be impacted as we grow and it is important to continue to make everyone feel part of the team,” says CEO Darryl Keys.

The company says that its service is a total and comprehensive solution for the IT needs of a SMB, and it is one-stop shop for its clients’ needs. Zypha says that its job is to keep its clients productive and to ensure they have immediate access to named support technicians who can deal with issues very quickly.
