We serve data analysts and other line-of-business users with the leading platform for self-service data analytics: Alteryx

 December 2017

Companies of all sizes realize the tremendous potential for data, but many struggle with turning that data into something they can take action upon, quickly enough for it to make a difference. Legacy approaches and tools for analytics have simply slowed them down even more. And, analysts in line-of-business departments such as sales, marketing, and finance are exhausting the capabilities of Microsoft Excel and other point solutions, and have grown tired of having to depend on data scientists and specialized staff for data prep, blending, analytics, and sharing of insights.

With Alteryx these problems no longer slow an organization down. Alteryx Analytics provides analysts with the unique ability to easily prep, blend and analyze all of their data using a repeatable workflow, then deploy and share analytics at scale for deeper insights in hours, not weeks. Analysts love the Alteryx Analytics platform because they can connect to and cleanse data from data warehouses, cloud applications, spreadsheets and other sources, easily join this data together, then perform analytics – predictive, statistical and spatial – using the same intuitive user interface, without writing any code.

The company earned the trust of thousands of customers around the world, ranging from many of the world’s largest and best known brands, including Experian, Kaiser, Ford, and McDonald’s, to growing organizations such as Rosenblatt Securities, Veritix, and Consumer Orbit, who all want to use the power of data for a competitive edge.

For many analysts in business groups such as marketing, sales, finance, or customer insight, the process to prep, blend and analyze data is slow and painful. It requires different tools and people to gather, cleanse and join data from different sources, more tools to build and publish analytic models, and even more to get it into the hands of business decision makers.

Alteryx Designer solves this by delivering a repeatable workflow for self-service data analytics that leads to deeper insights in hours, not the weeks typical of traditional approaches! Alteryx Designer empowers data analysts by combining data preparation, data blending, and analytics – predictive, statistical and spatial – using the same intuitive user interface.

Alteryx connect

Most analysts spend more time searching for information that may be relevant to their analysis than on the analysis itself. Too much time spent on the front end translates to inefficiencies and delays in answering critical business questions and, in turn, implementing the actions that can improve your bottom line. And often, others in the organization have already collected the same information or performed a similar analysis, but analysts have no good way of finding it.

Alteryx Connect changes how analysts discover, prioritize, and analyze all relevant information in their organization. It is the beginning of a thrilling analytic experience that combines the power of data cataloging with human insight, and empowers analysts to quickly and easily find, manage, understand, and collaborate on the information that resides in their organization. Now, analysts can accelerate the end-to-end analytic process to dramatically improve analytic productivity and information governance, thus generating better business decisions for all.

Kudos! Alteryx

Enterprise technology research firm Gartner, Inc., recently announced the winners of their 2017 Peer Insights Customer Choice Awards for BI and Analytics Platforms. The report marks the latest addition to the company’s expansive list of buyer’s resources, which already includes the popular Magic Quadrant, Critical Capabilities, and Cool Vendors.

Awards were given based on variety of criteria. The vendor must have at least 50 published reviews in the market guide during the submission period and must pass Gartner’s validation, conflict of interest and moderation process. Additionally, any solution provider must have a bare minimum of one tool designated by Gartner’s analysts as relevant in the marketplace.

Alteryx was nominated for ‘Top Performers’

Alteryx was named the overall winner, earning gold status among reviewers. Tableau was runner-up, securing silver status, while Domo earned the bronze. There’s really no surprise here, as all three providers are mainstays in the BI and analytics marketplace. However, it is noteworthy that Gartner failed to include Alteryx and Domo as top providers in its February Magic Quadrant report. Both vendors were included only among the niche players in this space.
