The wait is over, Android 10 is finally here

android 10 release

The first numbered version of the Android has been in existence in beta for quite a while now. But now, Google has finally released the final version of the mobile OS.

One of the significant improvements in the Android 10 is the system for updates. The users will now be able to avail important security patches and privacy fixes directly from Google Play without having to wait for a full OS update.

Beginning with Android 10, Android system will support gesture navigation. The feature will help user access edge-to-edge app content. The users will be able to enjoy the additional screen space by making use of the floating navigation bar. A user will be able to use simple swipes to carry out tasks like pulling the home screenup without using the visible buttons.

Welcome to the dark side

An Android 10 user can now enable Dark Theme for the entire phone. Many of the first-party apps will now also come with the Dark Theme. While most of these apps have committed to come with a Dark Theme, there are still apps like Gmail which have failed to meet the deadline for Android 10’s release. But the compatibility is bound to come soon for these apps.

Live Caption

One of the headline features of the Android 10 is ‘Live Caption’ which will help users get real-time captioning for any audio or video on their mobile phone.
