This year’s Computex, one of the world’s biggest hardware-computer events will have a lot of exciting new products to showcase. This includes the ZenBook Pro Duo from Asus. This time, Asus has really outdone itself by including two 4K screens for this laptop.
Yes, you read it right! The mobile device has a 15-inch 16:9 OLED panel where the usual screen is seen in laptops. It gets interesting with the additional “ScreenPad Plus” screen located just above the keyboard. The ScreenPad Plus is a 32:9 IPS. As exciting as the additional 4K screen presents, it might also consume more power. But the overall design is very appealing as Asus hasn’t removed anything from the keyboard.
Dual Screen
There’s actually a software that goes into ScreenPad Plus that allows the user to use the screen as an additional monitor. Users can make the second screen as an extension of the main screen. So if you’re scrolling through a website, it goes all the way down till your keyboard. Or you can separate them and work on two things simultaneously or watch a movie while you work on the other! Quite fascinating and unnerving, isn’t it?
Considering that both the screens are in 4K and you have an eight-core Intel Core i9 processor, the hardware is quite hefty. There haven’t been any announcements about the pricing yet. The ZenBook Pro Duo might be available by end of this year.
