Best Buy announces next-day delivery as holidays approach

Following in the footsteps of the retail giants Amazon and Walmart, Best Buy has now announced next-day delivery on thousands of items. The delivery offer will be extended to almost all their customers.

The delivery offer covers a range of items which include tablets, headphones and even espresso machines. The heavier items like TVs and refrigerators have not been included in the offer though.

The next-day delivery option will be free for many of the items available with Best Buy. And if people order for something where next-day delivery is unavailable, the company promises free standard shipping throughout the holiday season without any membership or minimum purchase limits.

For the orders completed before 3 pm local time (2 pm on Sundays), the Same-Day Delivery option can be availed. This offer has been made available in 42 U.S. metro cities.

My Best Buy member

For the My Best Buy members, the retailer has announced exclusive early access to the biggest sales of the season. As of now, the membership is completely free and carries no monthly/annual fees. The member-only offers will be available in Best Buy stores or BestBuy.com.
