SAP SE and Fujitsu Limited have announced the expansion of their global partnership to bring in advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to their clients. Through this partnership they will offer advanced ERP solutions that use artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
With this agreement Fujitsu becomes one of SAP’s first global partners in providing advanced ERP solutions to enterprises. It will use SAP’s AI and machine learning capabilities with Fujitsu vast knowledge of a wide range of industries to deliver intelligent ERP services. They also plan on jointly delivering industry-vertical-oriented cloud services that will be delivered by Fujitsu.

Business enterprises in the world are still struggling up with their digital transformation and the solutions by the two behemoths focuses on that. The companies are going to merge each other’s expertise to deliver best in class solutions, combining each company’s AI and IoT technologies based on the SAP ERP solution, SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Leonardo IoT platform.
Fujitsu, which already has a well established cloud services, will be the vehicle to deliver it. The services will run on Fujitsu’s Cloud Service K5, SAP’s cloud platform and SAP HANA Enterprise cloud.

Additionally, Fujitsu will have technicians placed in SAP headquarters to enable quick response and also have regular technology exchanges between them. The service will be first offered in Japan and later in Malaysia, Singapore and the rest of Asia, eventually reaching European and American markets.
