Salesforce has announced Salesforce Hypeforce platform, which it says is a re-imagination of the company’s platform architecture built to securely and reliably deliver the Salesforce Customer 360, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Industries and more, on major public clouds.
The Hyperforce platform is a complete re-architecture of Salesforce. It has been designed to deliver an enhanced performance to support Salesforce’s global customer base's growth and success. The platform intends to empower the customers to deploy Salesforce apps and services from anywhere.
“Every company right now is facing an imperative — to go digital, fast,” said Bret Taylor, President and COO, Salesforce. “Salesforce Hyperforce is a quantum leap forward in how Salesforce can accelerate our global customers’ digital transformations and empower them to grow, fast and at scale, on our trusted platform.”
Hyperforce’s security architecture will limit the users to appropriate levels, which will mean that they will have limited access to customer data, protecting sensitive information from human error or misconfiguration. It will also provide encryption at rest and in transit. It will further provide local storage to support compliance with regulations. The platform will also offer backwards compatibility as every Salesforce app, customization, and integration will work with Hyperforce, regardless of the cloud.
