SAP's Gigya rolls out GDPR to build trust and protect customer data

There is a good news to all those organizations who are finding it difficult to collect customer data. SAP SE brought in three solutions to help these organizations gather data with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at the same time it also offers personalized experiences.

There are innumerable brands which failed building trusted customer relationship online. It is because there exists lack of transparency and control over personal information. Well, how to solve this? This question had popped up in everybody’s mind…. Here is the solution!

GDPR is effective from May 25, 2018 which helps EU residents and visitors get extensive new rights which are exclusive to EU users anywhere in the world.

SAP acquired Gigya very recently which offers customers with solutions to help them gain transparency and control over their data, helping them overcome the compliance challenge with robust registration, consent preference and profile management. Gigya recently launched three new SAP Hybris solutions namely; SAP Hybris Identity, SAP Hybris Consent and SAP Hybris Profile.

"At a time when SAP is doubling down on its strategy to provide the leading front-office suite, the combination of SAP Hybris and Gigya solutions is a tremendous benefit for customers. Importantly, it turns a compliance need into a strategic business advantage and creates more trusted customer relationships," says SAP Hybris President Alex Atzberger
