SAP has updated its App Center which now allows its customers to buy solutions and products directly from their partners. Their clients can now discover and try new products and solutions from the App Center which delivers centralized management of licenses, billing and vendor communications
“We are making it easier for our customers to find, acquire and manage great solutions from our broad ecosystem of strategic solution partners including startups, independent software vendors, and services and technology partners,” said Diane Fanelli, general manager, Global Channels and Platform at SAP.
The new App Center comes with a slew of new features with emphasis on compatibility. This brings together all of SAP’s solutions and more than 1300 partner applications that help its clients to try new technology to expand their existing SAP offerings like SAP Hybris, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Analytics solutions, essentially bringing the whole SAP ecosystem under one roof.
It also brought a two tiered, enterprise-grade procurement and payment methods including its own SAP Ariba solution for payments while keeping their existing support for global procurement with multicurrency, POs and credit cards. “We made SAP App Center more compatible with our customers’ procurement processes and more robust for our partners to engage with SAP customers,” added Fanelli.
The update has already been rolled out allowing the customers of SAP’s App Center digital enterprise marketplace can immediately make use of its benefits. SAP’s play is bringing them a long way forward from their SAP store which software, content, education and services endorsed and sold by SAP.
