Microsoft has announced a massive partnership with SAP which will extend from conceptualization to sales to even accelerating customer adoption of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud Platform on Microsoft Azure.
The companies are already working together on Project “Embrace” and this announcement builds upon the already established partnership. The new partnership aims to reduce costs, and complexities that come with cloud migration.
To simplify the customer’s cloud journey, Microsoft is going resell components of SAP Cloud Platform alongside Azure. This will make for an easier migration of SAP ERP application and SAP S/4 HANA customers from on-premise to cloud.
“This partnership is all about reducing complexity and minimizing costs for customers as they move to SAP S/4 HANA in the cloud,” said Jennifer Morgan, co-chief executive officer of SAP SE. “Bringing together the power of SAP and Microsoft provides customers with the assurance of working with two industry leaders so they can confidently and efficiently transition into intelligent enterprises.”
Both Microsoft and SAP have worked together on various projects for over 25 years to empower their customers and bring upon a digital transformation. Customers’ cloud journey is bound to get simplified with integrated products from both companies.
