Through their engaging educational content PBS Kids introduces Weather Hunters and Phoebe and Jay to teach young viewers about STEM and literacy.

PBS Kids will present two brand-new animated productions in 2025 which will introduce innovative educational material to children's programming. Weather Hunters will launch its first STEM-based animated season on July 7th. Through Al Roker Entertainment's production the animated series brings audiences into the adventures of Lily Hunter who investigates Earth science and meteorology as an 8-year-old weather detective. While receiving assistance from her family Lily tracks down weather mysteries that benefit her community along with Earth as a whole. Through the combination of adventure with educational value and comedy Weather Hunters teaches children about weather's influences on their everyday lives and the environment.

Phoebe and Jay will debut between September 2025 and November 2025 as their second animated show. This educational television series aims at preschool children through its emphasis on reading skills which demonstrates how ordinary public signs and labels together with movie passes allow children to understand their surroundings. Children watch twins Phoebe and Jay solve everyday obstacles while they discover Tobsy Towers and learn how literacy functions as a problem-solving method throughout the series. Genie Deez and Thy Than together developed this series which shows functional literacy through enjoyable content.

Through animated storytelling both Weather Hunters delivers STEM content and Phoebe and Jay preserves early literacy instruction. These educational programs demonstrate potential to transform children's study methods profoundly.
