Dan Lisowsky, leads ECM's new division, to enhance global adoption of PCB Stator technology and PrintStator Motor CAD.
ECM has appointed Dan Lisowsky as the head of its newly established Industrial OEM Products Division, aimed at advancing the global adoption of PCB Stator electric motors. This strategic move underscores ECM’s commitment to driving innovation in electric motor design and manufacturing.
Dan Lisowsky, previously a Product Marketing Manager and Applications Engineer at AMETEK, will oversee ECM’s efforts in supporting major manufacturers with PCB Stator technology. His role will involve directing engineering and software services provided through ECM’s award-winning PrintStator Motor CAD platform. The division will offer comprehensive support for the modeling, prototyping, production, and commercialization of products utilizing PCB Stator technology.
ECM’s Industrial OEM Products Division will serve a roster of prominent clients, including aerospace and defense leader L3 Harris, global electronics firm Celestica, and marine and rail component specialist B. Hepworth. The division aims to expand its client base by leveraging Lisowsky’s extensive industry experience and network.
Brian Casey, ECM CEO, highlighted the importance of Lisowsky’s appointment, noting the enhanced focus on meeting the growing demand for PCB Stator innovations. Lisowsky expressed enthusiasm about utilizing ECM’s technology to achieve performance, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
ECM’s PCB Stators, which replace traditional copper windings with ultra-thin discs, offer substantial benefits including a 70% reduction in weight and over 90% efficiency. The company’s PrintStator SaaS platform has earned numerous accolades, including the 2024 Automate Innovation Awards for Software.
