Fair-Code’s Funding Fuels Growth as AI Transforms Workflow Automation
Workflow automation has been developing and evolving at a rapid pace, and Berlin-based startup n8n is utilizing the wave of artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize the space. The company that is better known for its commitment to fair-code principles has raised $60 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered automation platform. This latest round, led by Highland Europe, which included participation from HV Capital, Sequoia, Felicis, and Harpoon, values the company at approximately $270 million.
Since shifting gear towards AI in 2022, n8n has seen a tremendous growth, with revenues increasing fivefold. The platform currently boasts over 3,000 enterprise customers and 200,000 active users, and has its wings spread across the United States. The company further plans to use the funding to scale operations, develop novel technology, and strengthen its presence in key global markets.
Jan Oberhauser, n8n’s founder and CEO, dedicates the company’s success to its ability to simplify the automation process. “People no longer need to write complex code to automate tasks. With AI, you can just describe a process in natural language, and the system takes care of the rest,” he explained.
As AI and automation continue to transcend industries, n8n’s advanced approach cements its position at the forefront of this transformation. With strong investor backing and a growing user base, the company is all set to change how businesses implement AI-based automation into their workflows.
