Omnidian Appoints Evan Fein as CFO to Accelerate Global Growth and Solar Innovation

Omnidian has appointed Evan Fein as CFO to oversee global expansion and enhance solar power performance management through the use of AI and additional services.

Evan Fein has been named by Omnidian, a Seattle startup in the solar power industry, to serve as chief financial officer (CFO) and assist with its growth overseas. This hire is part of Synergie’s direction after it secured $87 million in funding and got Australia’s largest solar service network, Solar Service Guys.

He has worked in the role of CFO for almost two decades at Impinj, Chef Software and TextNow. Fein, who is new to the energy industry, believes Omnidian concentrating on clean technology gives him the chance to use his skills in growing late-stage private firms.

In his role as CFO, Fein will be important to Omnidian’s strategy of expanding services to new projects and expanding into different continents. The software the company uses watches the solar panels and batteries, helps remotely and arranges for technicians when necessary.

Between 2022 and 2024, Omnidian earned three times as much revenue and ended up at 49th place on GeekWire’s list of top 200 Pacific Northwest tech startups. It has set up under 375 employees around the world and is now focusing on improving field service with AI.

Fein is still hopeful, even with the U.S. promoting oil and policies making solar imports more expensive. He pointed out that solar energy was the cheapest and that both data centers and electric cars are driving greater demand for renewables.

As the CFO of Omnidian, Fein is prepared to help the company succeed in the renewable energy industry.
