Accenture has announced its plans to acquire a Cirruseo, a French Google Cloud services provider. The companies though chose to not share the details of the deal.
The consulting giant believes that the acquisition would help it to gain valuable insights into the Google Cloud market in France and broadly across Europe. This will also help Accenture’s clients apply Google Cloud technologies at speed and scale. Cloud is undeniably helping businesses innovate by increasing volumes of data and creating hyper-personalized client experiences and Cirruseo’s expertise will augment Accenture’s understanding and ability in the field.
Headquartered in Paris, Cirruseo was founded in 2011. Cirruseo excels with Google Cloud’s artificial intelligence solutions, including data analytics and machine learning tools. The company has helped over 600 clients in France execute their Google Cloud-based strategies.
Commenting on the development the company’s co-founder and CEO Herve Romain said: “As the demand for Google Cloud services is booming, joining Accenture is an exciting opportunity for us to help even more organizations benefit from the potential of Google Cloud to drive innovation.”
Accenture has more than 2,600 Google Cloud practitioners on its client list and has delivered more than 21,000 cloud transformations for companies in various industries. The acquisition will give its Google Cloud Business Group gain traction especially in France and Europe.
