Ellucian has launched a new initiative in association with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate digital transformation and the wider adoption of cloud computing in higher education. The cloud-acceleration program will be available for all the Elluican Banner and Ellucian Colleague on-premise customers.
The Cloud Acceleration Program has been live since November 4 and will run till December 31. Those who sign-up for the program stand to gain from specialized tools, expert guidance and pricing options which were specifically designed to accelerate the move to the cloud.
The program will be offering cloud readiness assessment services, preferred cloud contracting and other tools and resources to help people, their processes and technology move towards cloud adoption.
“Student expectations and the rapid transformation in higher education are putting greater pressure than ever on institutions to change, and change quickly,” said Ellucian SVP of Strategy and Operations Melissa King. “Moving key systems to the cloud is critical to meeting many of those expectations and to helping leaders better drive empowered change; yet many institutions struggle with the time, cost and change management required to make this move.”
Ellucain has said that the eligible customers will receive a notification with the details of the program.
