Globally acclaimed hotel franchising firm will now use AWS Cloud platform to update its technology infrastructure and scale up and offer new guest services across many brands which also includes La Quinta, Microtel, Ramada, Super 8 and Wyndham.
Wyndham’s goal is to improve business performance and reinvest most of the reduced data center operating costs and close down extra physical datacenters. The information was revealed while discussing about Wyndham’s multiyear digital transformation and investment in technology.
Wyndham started working with AWS in the year 2018 and shifted critical reservation system, property management system and data processing platform to AWS to roll out new services for guests along with quickening operational potential.
AWS machine learning is also used to increase demand by scaling personalization on time. Wyndham utilizes AWS to create digital services for guests to mechanize check-in and empowering AWS partners to offer personalized offers during long hotel stays.
“We expand our relationship with AWS, the world’s leading and most comprehensive cloud provider, to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our guests and increase our operational efficiency on a global scale,” said Scott Strickland, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
