The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce promotes Sharifah Hardie to CMO position to drive its substantial Black business support initiatives.
The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce (SCBCC) congratulates its member Sharifah Hardie for her promotion to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Since leading the Long Beach Area Chapter successfully Hardie received her Chief Marketing Officer position at the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce.
Hardie arrives at her new position equipped with three decades of experience in business and entertainment and marketing and technology fields. Through her roles as business consultant and serial entrepreneur alongside editor-in-chief for Long Beach Black News and media personality she became an advocate for Black entrepreneurs while hosting Ask Sharifah Videocast & Podcast.
The President and Founder of SCBCC Rich Wallace acknowledged Hardie's instrumental role in expanding the organization impact through her dedication and vision and commitment. The critical period demands Black business support and her marketing knowledge prove essential in these times.
Hardie will steer the Chamber's marketing direction as CMO by developing strategies to manage the brand and conduct market assessments for launching and performing campaigns. As a part of her role Hardie will develop strategies to increase public awareness of Black businesses while creating sustainable growth opportunities for the local community.
Hardie expressed her honor to take on this new challenge and she will use it to support Black-owned businesses in a significant manner. The Chamber will benefit from Hardie's leadership which will extend its presence throughout the community at both national and local levels.
