Owl Cyber Defence Solutions, LLC, market leader in data diode network cybersecurity solutions makes an announcement that it is selected to speak at the forthcoming Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cyber Security Conference in Atlanta on October 23rd.
The event is produced by SecurityWeek and the conference is held for ICS users, ICS vendors, system security providers and government representatives so that they can meet and discuss the latest cyber-incidents, analyze their causes and share ideas on solutions.
“We’re excited to be one of the few vendors selected to speak at this premier conference for industrial control system security,” said Mike Timan, CEO of Owl. “As industrial control systems are becoming more and more connected, it’s more vital now than ever to look at innovative ways to address the unique challenges in protecting them.”
In the session, “What If You Can’t Patch?” Scott Coleman will present cyber security best practices, including guidance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, on how to protect sensitive ICS devices and networks that cannot be patched.
Since 2002, the conference has attracted many and has increased interest as both critical infrastructure protection and the distinctiveness of securing ICSs become increasingly apparent.
