The French multi-national company Capgemini has acquired June 21 in an effort to boost its digital marketing expertise. June 21 is known for its great proficiency in digital marketing that has helped many firms across France and UK. June 21 has worked with big companies like Orange, SNCF, Veolia, Kingfisher, and Carrefour.
The founder and Chairman of June 21, Jean-Pierre Villaret said that their company was looking for a “reference partner” to transform their expertise in digital marketing with the emergence of artificial intelligence.“As a leader in technology, data and customer experience Capgemini will allow us to develop new expertise while preserving our know-how and the originality of our approach. This is a very positive move for both our clients and employees.”
The acquisition will also help Capgemini in return by reinforcing its strategic digital consultancy capabilities in France. The company’s CEO Paul Hermelin said: “Their truly entrepreneurial spirit and well-established expertise will enable us to offer our clients an enriched portfolio of advanced digital services. I am delighted to welcome them to the Group.”
Capgemini has not revealed the details of the agreement but will be closing the deal in the coming weeks.
