Krispy Kreme and McDonald partnership

Krispy Kreme and The Golden Arches are partnering to expand nationally, with doughnuts set to be available in McDonald's restaurants later this year.

One of the most well-known sweet treat companies in the world, Krispy Kreme, and The Golden Arches are collaborating to expand nationally. As part of a gradual nationwide rollout, fans will start to see Krispy Kreme doughnuts in their neighborhood McDonald's restaurants later this year. By the end of 2026, it should be available at participating eateries across the country. Every day, three of Krispy Kreme's most popular doughnuts will be freshly delivered to McDonald's locations. While supplies remain, they will be offered for sale singly or in boxes of six, beginning at breakfast and continuing all day.

This comes after a successful test at 160 McDonald's locations in the Kentucky cities of Lexington and Louisville, where customer enthusiasm and demand surpassed forecasts. During the national rollout, Krispy Kreme doughnuts will still be served at these test restaurants.

Since the introduction of breakfast nearly 50 years ago, McDonald's USA's Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Tariq Hassan noted that the company has continued to introduce new menu items, flavors, and experiences that have made McDonald's an indispensable part of fans' morning routines. In addition to offering the potential to open up new business prospects in the breakfast sector and throughout the day, their alliance represents an exciting next step in that path.
