MadeGood granola bars have been recalled by Riverside Natural Foods because they may contain metal. They are encouraged to return affected products for a full refund.
Riverside Natural Foods Inc. initiated a voluntary recall on several lots of MadeGood granola bars due to the possible presence of metal fragments. This recall is one of the range recalls by the FDA on food & beverages products, such as Chocolate Chip, Mixed Berry, Strawberry, and Chocolate Banana Granola Bars, among others.
Though no injuries were reported to date by the company, it said this was just precautionary and for the priority of consumer safety. The affected products were manufactured between January and November of the year 2024 and were distributed across U.S., Canada, and global markets. The best-by dates affect bars from 2025 to 2026 the most, so consumers are urged to make sure their purchases are not on the recall list.
The lot is a safety hazard, the FDA says, because it has a small probability that some of the granola bars contain a foreign object. Riverside Natural Foods already addressed the source of the contamination and is working with regulatory authorities to ensure consumer safety.
Consumers who bought any of the withdrawn food & beverages products should return them to their dealer for an outright refund. Riverside Natural Foods reemphasizes its renewed commitment to consumer health and well-being and socialism as well as issuing additional precautionary recall.
That is why it reinforces the importance of sustained industry and consumer effort to maintain the very highest safety by food & beverage.
