PepsiCo adds caffeinated sparkling water to its portfolio

PepsiCo’s Bubly water brand has launched a new caffeinated sparkling water drink called Bubly Bounce. The Bubly Bounce sparkling water will initially be available in five combo flavors: mango passion fruit, triple berry, blood orange grapefruit, citrus cherry, and blueberry pomegranate.According to PepsiCo, all five zero-calorie flavors feature no sweeteners or artificial flavors. The drinks will be available in 12oz and 16oz cans, providing 35mg of caffeine per 12oz can and 47mg of caffeine per 16oz can.

Zach Harris, the vice-president of, water portfolio at PepsiCo Beverages North America, said: “Bubly sparkling water was created to bring more smiles into the sparkling water category, and new Bubly bounce takes it to the next level with caffeine.As more individuals seek out sparkling waters with added benefits, Bubly bounce delivers all of the delicious flavor and hydration of the original, now with just a kick of caffeine.”

According to the company, the new drink will be available to buy online as well as major retail stores. The drink will be available in a variety of convenient purchase options ranging from 16oz single-serve cans to 24-packs of 12oz cans.Bubly Sparkling water is claimed to be free from artificial flavors, sweeteners, and calories. The range of flavors includesLimebubly, Grapefruitbubly, Strawberrybubly, Lemonbubly, Orangebubly, Applebubly, Mangobubly, and Cherrybubly.The drinks, packaged in 20oz single-serve bottles and 12oz cans of eight and 12 packs,  followed the launch of PepsiCo’s premium bottled water LIFEWTR.
