Iconic rap musician Eminem opens a new Italian restaurant in Detroit named 'Mom's Spaghetti.'
Rap superstar Eminem, who’s real is Marshall Mathers, opens his first restaurant in Detroit. The restaurant is a fast-casual pasta restaurant which he has named 'Mom's Spaghetti.' The restaurant gets its name from a verse in his Oscar and Grammy-winning track 'Lose Yourself' from the movie 8 mile.
The restaurant Mom's Spaghetti is located in a small space found down an alleyway. The restaurant features a walk-up window where the restaurant can serve hungry customers through a hatch. The restaurant also has a small amount of indoor seating, but it is mainly a takeaway. The Trailer, a retail space dedicated to selling Eminem and 8 Mile merchandise and memorabilia, is located above the restaurant.
The restaurant's menu is simple and will serve the eponymous Mom's Spaghetti for $9 or $12 if meatballs are added or $14 if vegan meatballs are added. The menu also features a 'Sghetti' Sandwich for $11. Beverages are also limited to water and soda, priced at $3 each.
Eminem also promoted his rap album 'Revival' by hosting a Mom's Spaghetti pop-up in 2017. The pasta was available as street food at several of the festivals Eminem performed at in 2018.
