With its recent US launch, Apple's Vision Pro mixed reality headset has drawn a lot of interest from both fans and critics of the Cupertino company.
With its futuristic-looking technology and unusual features, Apple's Vision Pro mixed reality headset has garnered a lot of attention from both supporters and detractors of the Cupertino corporation since its recent US introduction. But according to a recent source, Apple might be planning to include a lot of these cutting-edge capabilities in its upcoming iOS 18 operating system, which is probably going to be unveiled at the WWDC 2024 developer conference.
Apple aims to include much of the visionOS's visual components into the iOS 18 and iPadOS releases, according to a report by The Verifier. Specifically, the iOS 18 upgrade may bring about some significant improvements to Apple's operating system for iPhones and iPads, which haven't been updated in a long time.
According to the source, iOS 18 will have a complete redesign of the user interface, including menus, built-in apps, and Safari.
Although the UI of visionOS is modeled after iOS, 9to5Mac notes that items in visionOS have rounded corners, shadows, and depth because of a sophisticated background and floating windows.
Apple is reportedly working on adding several AI features to the iOS 18 upgrade, according to a recent report by Mark Gurnman of Bloomberg. A new era of artificial intelligence is expected to be ushered in by Apple's next iOS 18 upgrade, which will introduce a number of cutting-edge technologies meant to improve user experiences.
