Dell’s spectacular new XPS 13 Plus is now available, begins at $1,299

Dell announced that the bold XPS 13 Plus unveiled at CES 2022 is now available for purchase.

The new version of the XPS 13 has a more futuristic-looking design than the standard model. A few notable elements make the XPS 13 a wholly unique device. For beginners, there’s no touchpad, or at least not a visible one. The XPS 13’s touchpad is integrated seamlessly into the laptop’s chassis, and there are no visible borders, so the XPS 13 Plus looks extremely clean. In addition, the computer features a zero-lattice keyboard, meaning there’s no space between the keys, resulting in each key being more prominent and much sleeker-looking.

The function row above the keyboard is replaced by capacitive buttons, which allows the laptop to display the traditional media controls or function key labels depending on whether the Function (Fn) key is toggled, allowing the users to know the key they are pressing.

The Dell XPS 13 Plus is powered by Intel’s 12-generation P-series processors. The new processors feature a hybrid architecture with efficiency and performance cores, and configurations range from Intel’s Core i5-1240P to the Core i7-1280P with 14 cores and 20 threads. The Dell XPS 13 Plus ships with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
