Microsoft Teams Now Comes With Ambient Clinical Intelligence

Microsoft has integrated an ambient clinical intelligence (ACI) solution into Microsoft Teams to deliver telehealth for patients and physicians. The integration is part of the partnership between Microsoft and Nuance Communications Inc.

For virtual consults, Microsoft announced Nuance Dragon^® Ambient eXperience™ (DAX™) integration into Microsoft Teams to accelerate the adoption of ACI solutions to healthcare experiences. This will reduce the administrative workloads that weigh heavily on the physicians. The solution is now built on Microsoft Teams.

The integration will allow physicians to activate Nuance DAX from within their Microsoft Teams workflows. This will allow them to focus on the patients as the AI will derive the details of the consultation and create documentation.

Microsoft and Nuance will demonstrate the telehealth solution to customers for private preview at the Microsoft Ignite virtual conference which is being held on September 22-24, 2020.
