The research shows Millennial workers account for 13% of employees who receive such risk perception and Gen Z workers make up only 11%.
The percentage of workers who fear for their health has grown year over year because 18% of staff now express health worries compared to 12% from the previous year. A survey shows that the percentage of employees between 55 and 60 who feel worried about their health equals 27% of the total population while cancer diagnoses continue to rise according to NHS data.
Research revealed that 71% of employees needed help from their HR team during cancer while working but found their team unprepared for assistance. Employees enduring cancer battle workplace isolation to the extent that 35% of them experienced it.
The financial repercussions of cancer concern employers who recognized potential expenses while estimating that more employees would be affected according to 69% and 54% respectively.
