China’s tech giant sets a new standard for safe, connected devices, igniting trust in a digital world.
In a shining stride toward a safer digital future, Hikvision, a leader in IoT solutions, has earned two coveted international certifications—ETSI EN 303 645 and EN 18031—from Bureau Veritas, a global authority in testing and certification. These accolades affirm Hikvision’s commitment to fortifying its IoT products with world-class security and privacy standards, sparking confidence among users worldwide.
The ETSI EN 303 645 certification, a European gold standard, ensures Hikvision’s devices safeguard consumer privacy and data with robust designs that thwart cyber risks. Meanwhile, the EN 18031 certification, crafted by Europe’s CEN-CENELEC, strengthens defenses for radio equipment, protecting networks, finances, and personal data from threats. Together, these certifications showcase Hikvision’s proactive stance against vulnerabilities, fostering a secure IoT ecosystem.
To elevate its efforts, Hikvision has partnered with Secura, a Netherlands-based cybersecurity lab, to refine security protocols and enhance product development. This collaboration aims to align with global standards like IEC 62443, paving the way for smarter, safer connected devices. By prioritizing cybersecurity, Hikvision is not just building products but nurturing trust in an interconnected world. This milestone invites curiosity about how technology can harmonize innovation with safety, ensuring a brighter, more secure tomorrow. The news originates from China, Hikvision’s home base.
