New TCS Lab in the US to Accelerate Development of AI, GenAI, and IoT Solutions
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has unveiled a new Internet of Things (IoT) engineering lab in Cincinnati, Ohio, aimed at helping clients develop innovative solutions more efficiently. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to facilitate rapid prototyping, experimentation, and large-scale implementation of AI, GenAI, and IoT engineering solutions.
The Cincinnati lab, known as the "Bringing Life to Things Lab," will offer a comprehensive suite of IoT solutions from TCS and industry-specific solutions for sectors such as manufacturing, energy, consumer goods, and life sciences. Amit Bajaj, President of TCS North America, highlighted the lab’s role in bridging the gap between operational and digital technology, allowing clients to swiftly transform their ideas into minimum viable products and revolutionize their value chains at scale.
In addition to its industry focus, the lab will support local community initiatives with TCS Grow+, a smart gardening technology promoting sustainability. Regu Ayyaswamy, Global Head of IoT and Digital Engineering at TCS, emphasized that the lab will foster co-innovation, enabling clients to collaborate and unlock the full potential of IoT, AI, and GenAI technologies through design thinking workshops.
The launch of this lab reinforces TCS's strong presence in the US, showcasing its commitment to driving technological advancement and innovation.
