TCS has set up a new facility in Oman to give better IT support to Vision 2040 and help the region grow in digital technologies.
IT Company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is making its mark in the Middle East by opening a new office in Oman. This is the 10th center of TCS in the region and proves its readiness to contribute to Oman’s Vision 2040 by driving digital transformation.
The Oman facility is designed to increase business success and train people in IT, using TCS’s worldwide experience in the sector. The Indian Ambassador in Oman, Amit Narang, explained that TCS played a leading role in growing India’s IT sector and strengthening ties with Oman IT firms.
The move follows on from TCS’s successful relationships with important enterprises in banking, retail, insurance and telecom sectors in Oman. The firm offers different IT services, for example, application development, managed services and core domain solutions.
Sumanta Roy, President and Region Head for the Middle East and Africa, pointed out that TCS helps Oman by providing AI, cloud and digital solutions as it moves toward becoming a technologically advanced economy. TDS offers digital transformation services and forms STEM education, workforce retraining and humanitarian initiatives for more than 150 clients in the region, with more than 9,000 staff serving them. This tactic ensures TCS holds a significant position in the IT services sector across the region.
