Adidas is committed to breaking racism boundaries Via Cultivate & B.L.O.O.M. program
Germany's multinational corporation, fashion and lifestyle giant Adidas in a recent announcement has stated that the company will equip Black and Latinx entrepreneurs through its Cultivate & B.L.O.O.M. program, which aims to provide entrepreneurs of color with tools and resources to enable them to accelerate growth and maximize impact.
As part of its most renowned campaign 'United Against Racism', Adidas is committed to breaking racism boundaries through its Cultivate & B.L.O.O.M. and is further closing the opportunity gap that exists for Black and Latinx social entrepreneurs by elevating, co-creating with, and funding entrepreneurs to bring about a change in their communities.
Adidas conducted an intentional selection process, through which it identified eight Black women, social entrepreneurs, to participate in the first-ever Cultivate & B.L.O.O.M. cohort. The first cohort officially kicked start in July 2022 and will graduate in March 2023. Throughout their nine months in the program, the selected entrepreneurs will have access to various resources from within and outside of the Adidas ecosystems that will help them to accelerate their impact. These resources include funding, mentorship, workshops, access to industry experts, and visibility into Adidas’ networks.
