Asics Launches the Novablast 5 with Ultimate Upgrade in Performance and Bounce

With a new foam technology and design upgrades, the Novablast 5 is set to elevate daily running experiences.

Asics has officially launched the Novablast 5, the newest iteration of its renowned running shoe that has captivated athletes with its exceptional bounce and versatility. Since its debut five years ago, the Novablast has established itself as a favorite among runners, providing a durable yet energetic option for everything from casual jogs to intense tempo sessions. This latest release introduces significant updates, making the shoe lighter and more responsive than ever.

At the heart of the Novablast 5 is the innovative FF Blast Max midsole foam, designed to enhance the shoe’s bounce by 8.5% compared to the previous model's FF Blast Plus Eco foam. This new technology delivers a highly responsive and cushioned feel, aiming to amplify every stride for a bouncier ride. Currently exclusive to the Novablast 5, there are hints that this foam may also appear in future Asics models, including the eagerly anticipated Superblast 3.

The redesigned upper features engineered Jacquard mesh, replacing the previous woven knit for improved breathability, keeping feet cooler on long runs. A pod-like groove in the forefoot adds extra spring, while a winged gusseted tongue ensures a secure lockdown fit, enhancing stability.
