Jonathan Anderson Joins Dior as Artistic Director for Dior Men

The debut collection by Jonathan Anderson during Paris Fashion Week marks his first project as artist director for Dior Men while he previously designed for Loewe.

Jonathan Anderson comes from Loewe design to become the new artistic director of Dior Men thus introducing a major transformation to Lifestyle & Fashion. After Loewe verified March that Jonathan Anderson left the company they revealed this decision. During the yearly investor gathering Bernard Arnault confirmed the news about Anderson taking over Dior Men while indicating that his inaugural show for Paris Men's fashion week will occur in June.

The arrival of Jonathan Anderson as the next Dior Men artistic director takes place within a time when Lifestyle & Fashion welcomes Matthieu Blazy at Chanel and Demna's transition from Balenciaga to Gucci. The designer of JW Anderson brand Bernard Anderson founded his line through sharp menswear designs that also included brand collaborations with Topshop and Versus Versace. After earning his degree at London College of Fashion he achieved British Fashion Council’s Emerging Talent award during 2012.

The new appointment for Anderson comes alongside Maria Grazia Chiuri maintaining her Dior creative director position for women while she prepares for a Rome cruise collection presentation in May. The fresh perspective of Jonathan Anderson will guide Dior in a significant direction for its Lifestyle & Fashion division during this creative transition.
