50 Best Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2022

Building internet of the Roles for the Future based on‘Privacy Must’— 4FANZ®

Entrepreneurs are essential to the global economy. They ask tough questions, drive information, and compete with big businesses. Gazelles (high-growth), unicorns (ventures valued at $1 billion), and decacorns (ventures valued

at $10 billion) appear to be dominating the landscape of entrepreneurship. In 2021, there were more than 700 ventures that have been valued at $1 billion or more by venture capitalists, and there seems to be a continued trend in more arising. However, the facts show that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) account for 90% of businesses and 50% of employment of the worldwide population, contributing up to 55% of GDP in developed economies. Thus, it is clear that smaller firms are the economy in developed countries.

Entrepreneurs are a special breed. Successful entrepreneurs are even more special. And, of course, serial entrepreneurs are exceptionally rarefied. One such entrepreneur is Manoj Kumar Padhi, Founder and CEO of Fan’sGlobal SocialNGN LLC. Mr. Padhi is the inventor and founder of three brands—the next generation social network- The Fansial® Network, the next generation spam-free secure communication platform- The LatterBox, and 4FANZ®- a subscription-driven website to create personal or business fan pages to connect and engage with your fans.

Following are excerpts from the conversation with Manoj Kumar Padhi, Founder and CEO of Fan’sGlobal SocialNGN LLC.

Q. What are the qualities of a good entrepreneur?

An entrepreneur works with a vision to invent solutions and hopes for the commercial success of the product or service. But after achieving success, shark-type companies often buy the company to kill competition. Good entrepreneurs are those who lead until their vision achieves commercial success. Then they become the messenger of their vision and carry the message to their business adversaries to switch course. E.g., 4FANZ® was founded on the 'Privacy Must’™ vision. Until other companies (such as Facebook and Google) don't switch to the Privacy Must business model, I would keep working more, speaking more to evangelize the two words –'Privacy Must.' I hope I made sense.

Q. What are the most important values you demonstrate as a leader?

Once a decision or a commitment is made and a budget is allocated - I do not change decisions because someone else wants to do the same task at a lesser price. As a leader, the decisions taken after careful consideration should not be frequently changed. Occasionally, fact-based decisions taken with lesser facts can be revisited, but that should not be a standard. The stakeholders, vendors, and customers should know that this CEO will not change his decision. Another important consideration is to discourage workaholic leaders from forcing more than 8 hours/workday. I would never hire a workaholic director who could spoil the work environment.

Q. How have your priorities changed from when you first started?

We started with the 'Privacy First' objective, but we realized that we need more if we want our customers to share data for a better customer experience. Like the connected car concept in the Internet of Things, we wanted connected hospitals, movie theaters, governments, etc. So, we switched to the 'Privacy Must' platform of infinite possibilities and named our platform InfinityOne™. Then we envisioned a Bizile™ standard, an advisory to businesses to adapt to “The Internet of Roles” and get 1:1 contact with their customers and get rid of the current customer brokers like Facebook and Google on the “Internet of People.” Then we added a patent-pending intake procedure to "The Internet of Roles" that makes it superior to the “Internet of People” and distinguishes our next-generation services from the current generation of services provided by Big Tech Companies. It is easy to develop a product or app designed for a specific task. But, how would one explain a revolutionary idea that could change - How people send messages or browse the internet? It was not easy to explain to investors. So, I have decided to invest my own money and get this done.

Q. How is Fansial® Network different and better from social networks?

The intake process of Fansial® Network is different than that of Social Network. The Social Network is about 20 years old and analogous to a giant ocean with 3 billion users. Their intake process is designed for the Internet of People, which cannot be Zoned. Due to this, they must track users, and a user is like a needle in a haystack. So, it is hard to find and control anything such as fake news, fake users, deceptive polls, impersonation and above all, their lifeline is based on tracking and profiling users. The day user tracking is banned or prohibited - like Apple introduced a privacy feature in iPhone - the social network ad model won't work effectively.

Even European laws are hurting Facebook. They can't make an equivalent to our “Wheel of Wonder” with their legacy intake process. The Fansial® Network is designed to work with the Internet of Roles. We invented this patent-pending intake process and envisioned the Internet of Roles, which makes it easier to collaborate across two dependent roles. Here, no need to spy as during the intake process, the roles are declared. When finding a doctor, the list of users who have registered in the Doctor role would be visible to a patient of a specific city, and the basic registration of every role is now just $100/year. Currently, in Social networks, a Doctor joins as a person and then creates a business page and asks the social network to target his page to display on timelines of people of his city who might be sick !!

Fansial® also provides a LatterBox™ for each person in a role that makes them easier to send a message directly without using a phone or E-mail.

Q. Tell us something about 4FANZ® being 'The Next Generation Social Network.'

It is truly the next generation because we envisioned this around The Internet of Roles with a patent-pending intake process. Facebook is a Social Network designed for the Internet of People where they ask the same 4 or 5 questions like Name, E-mail id, username, gender, and Date of Birth, during registration. Our intake process is supported by a technology that took us seven years to develop after discarding our designs several times. The contrast of our Bizile™ Fansial® Network compared to Facebook is as follows:

  • Facebook can never be a 'Privacy Must' platform because its architecture offers free services to track users and monetize them. We don't do that
  • On Facebook, everyone is a friend. We have five categories of connection requests:Family, Friend, Business, Civic, and Dating with a LatterBox™ that is part of a Zone-Domain-Role Architecture with a “Wheel of Wonder.” So, your friends won't be mad at you if you discuss politics using Civic LatterBox™ in Politics Zone. On Facebook, people are now losing friends if they have opposing political views
  • 4FANZ is a global listing provider where businesses get an opportunity to build their 1:1 Fansial® Network and sponsor local events to build their brand. Facebook is not a listing provider, and companies advertise hoping for a random sale. They cannot build a brand there

In Fansial® Network, power is given to users when they want to subscribe and set their LatterBox™  settings.

Q. What have you enjoyed most about starting your own company?

Had it been like a typical start-up with a straightforward idea where investors at least weigh in to invest, there could have been a chance of enjoyment for me. In our case, the only believer of the Big Idea was me. Until we won the CEO Today USA Awards 2020 as #6, our team had no clue if the idea we worked hard on for six years would ever get any coverage. Also, there were financial issues we had to overcome since we never could convince an investor to invest in this FANSIAL™ Network idea to introduce Zoning around The Internet of Roles. So it was a mix of stress and enjoyment. When I used to sit down with my notebook to prepare the design of features, it was enjoyable. It was stressful to cover the company's expenses from my salary, withdrawal from the Pension fund, 401K, and Home Equity. Then I never thought that I would one day be recognized as a Visionary Business Leader by a prestigious magazine like yours or the CEO Today magazine.

The man behind the visionary idea

The CEO of 4FANZ®, Manoj Kumar Padhi, loved programming, and for 20 years in the USA, he worked with many top-tier companies like Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. He has received a Master's Degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. He has also worked as a consultant with Verizon Wireless, where as a DevOps SME, he developed many PaaS-based solutions. He has been very passionate about the privacy of people who browse the Internet of People, aka The World Wide Web.

In 2014, when 4FANZ® was founded, he had envisioned “The Internet of Roles” and started a 'Privacy Must' solution around that. He branded his solution as The InfinityOne™ Bizile™platform that currently serves 36 Zones for consumers, governments, corporations, and others like airports and theme parks.
