AlayaCare: Empowering care providers to achieve better health outcomes

The future of community care is connected and part of a continuum, delivered through traditional and emerging modes of care. Founded in 2014, AlayaCare makes that personalized and predictive. It is a provider of revolutionary cloud-based home healthcare software. With an end-to-end solution spanning clinical documentation, back office functionality, client and family portals, and mobile care worker functionality. The company offers a platform for agencies to propel towards innovation and home care of the future. AlayaCare is driven to enable the care it wants the loved ones to receive in the place they call home.

Today, more than 500 home and community care organizations around the world rely on AlayaCare’s leading software to improve operational efficiencies through its modern, intelligent software. A key differentiator of the platform is its artificial intelligence (“AI”)-based predictive models that enable business leaders to spend less time on manual tasks, and more time focused on growing their organizations as they seek to meet the huge demand coming from health systems for home care. The AlayaCare platform also has robust third-party application programming interface (“API”) integration, enabling customers to integrate it holistically within their existing systems.

"Today, more than 500 home and community care organizations around the world rely on AlayaCare’s leading software to improve operational efficiencies through its modern, intelligent software."

"The AlayaCare platform allows for flexible, dynamic adaptation to the way home infusion worked historically and to how it is changing today. Everyone can be focused on clinical care for the patient, and not the underlying technology. And that means patient experience and outcomes are highly enabled through this partnership," said Brett Michalak, CIO of Option Care Health.

Code-Free Integration Tool for Home-Based Care Providers

Recently, AlayaCare announced release of AlayaCare Connector – a code-free integration tool that gives home-based care organizations the keys to build their own API integrations and provides an easier way to connect systems with fewer resources.

“We want to give AlayaCare users the ability to connect their everyday platforms in a brand-new, seamless way,” explained David Sallusti, Director of Technical Services at AlayaCare. “Our teams recognize that legacy IT systems sometimes have outdated processes that can make interoperability difficult to achieve. We are focused on working with home care organizations to decode ways they can achieve EHR interoperability, which is why we’re thrilled to launch AlayaCare Connector.”

Interoperability is a powerful concept that can have a major impact on home health organizations. It is becoming increasingly important to have systems in place that allow for quick access and exchange of accurate data to promote interoperability among industry stakeholders. However, the process of building a relatively simple API to connect systems can cost up to $20,000 and can take months to fully complete. With AlayaCare Connector, users can now integrate the AlayaCare platform to hundreds of applications in minutes.

“This new feature unlocks a lot of potential for organizations looking to expand their operational capabilities,” said Patrick Charbonneau, Senior Vice President of Product at AlayaCare. “By minimizing manual data entry and streamlining data flow, AlayaCare Connector allows for more time to be dedicated to delivering better care and improving outcomes.”
