Dr. Boris' focus is on the development of performance assurance, performance engineering, dynamic performance management and long-term capacity planning software tools for big data, data warehouse and cloud applications. Boris consults with many Fortune 500 companies. He manages Capstone projects for graduate students in MS in Analytics at University of Chicago. Dr Zibitsker is a member of Steering Committee of SPEC Research Group.​

Boris was a CTO of Modeling and Optimization at Compuware. He participated in development of Machine Learning algorithms for performance and availability anomaly detection, problems prediction and root cause determination for internet and web applications.

Dr. Zibitsker was an Adjunct Associate Professor of DePaul University in Chicago. He was teaching graduate courses related to modeling and computer systems and networks performance optimization.
