Raven: Focus on the Right Things to Deliver ROI

Raven: Focus on the Right Things to Deliver ROI

Raven was founded in 2013 to help manufacturers analyze and act on their data. The founders' “a-ha” moment came when they realized that pretty reports and dashboards provide little value if the data is not continually studied to uncover new bottlenecks and gaps in operations. What manufacturers need are insights and guidance, not just more reports.

Raven captures, cleans, and maps data from multiple sources to establish a complete, accurate, and meaningful source of information. The company's Smart Manufacturing AI spots opportunities and provides real-time guidance that empowers and engages the team. Solve delays with just the data you need to improve performance. In 2021, Raven is helping global companies, Danaher, Michelin, Amazon and others to increase productivity with continuous improvement.

Raven is a leading provider of digital solutions that help manufacturers gain visibility into their production efficiency and boost their continuous improvement initiatives. Raven’s solutions are designed with an operator-first mindset that leverages proprietary IoT/edge devices and AI to unite various sources of manufacturing data to deliver a unique and accurate timeline of information. Raven serves manufacturers globally in Discrete Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Agri-Food, Healthcare and more.

Basically, Raven sifts through a plant’s data and finds inefficiencies within the machine pipeline. The company creates value by creating and acting on tangible, achievable goals to meet your production uptime. A typical implementation is a mixture of all three of Raven platforms. From directly wired to IoT, the Raven ecosystem works together to clean, analyze, and digest a plant’s data.

What differentiates Raven is its focus on a people. Raven cares about everyone in the manufacturing pipeline from operators to senior management. Its platform is tailored to all manufacturers, so no one is left out.

The Raven Continuous Improvement Platform can help know the exact cause of downtime in real-time. Raven provides an accurate account of all OEE losses, so manufacturers can facilitate timely and meaningful actions to:

  • Improve changeover performance
  • Reduce micro-stops and waiting time
  • Track production vs. target in real-time

Eliminate lost time by understanding the root cause of production losses. Raven makes it easy to capture data from machines, ERP/MES, and most importantly, operators. Designed to optimize operator interaction, Raven captures complete and accurate data with a 100% account of production time.

Raven has eliminated 600 of lost machine hour per month for a medical component manufacturer, increasing top-line revenue by $2.4M/year. It has increased OEE from 78% to 91% by reducing setup variation for fabricated metal manufacturer. It has also helped a High-mix, low- volume machine shop understand the cost of labor shortages.
