Break Out Consulting Asia - Transform businesses through leadership coaching

Leaders are the core of their organizations, yet statistics show that 71% of companies are not confident that their current leaders can take their organizations into the future. Coaching, however, empowers leaders to do exceptional work, as they gain new perspectives on everyday responsibilities from their coach. A leader with heightened awareness invariably brings remarkable growth to their company.

Break Out Consulting Asia (BOCA) is a consulting group that helps transform organizations and individuals through executive and leadership coaching, unlocking resources and hidden skills that result in enhanced performance.

Operating from the premise that successful companies value each employee’s voice, have transparent policies, and that diverse and inclusive organizations yield the most creative, collaborative and innovative environment, BOCA works to identify individuals’ strengths to help employees and teams build confidence. When people become aware of their strengths, they can be leveraged to greater success and collaboration.

The company also uses a variety of innovative techniques, including phototherapy. This unique  technique facilitates learning and self-actualization and builds resilience-- especially needed during the global uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Phototherapy includes photos as part of self-reflection, which leads to a deeper exploration. Photos, after all, are metaphors and archetypes of our home and business worlds. BOCA has found that this deeper exploration allows leaders to express deeply buried subliminal thoughts. This is a critical factor in being able to move ahead positively in life, explained the company.

The company takes a systematic approach to ensuring success. The first step is to understand the changes the client would like to make, and define what success in their new world looks like. Then BOCA works with them to map out an implementation and execution plan, with accountability steps. “It’s the surest way of achieving change and for that change to become cemented as a habit,” says the company.

Delivering on their promises to clients means quantifiable goals, and a dose of reality. “When we work with clients, we always take stock of the “as-is.” That way, we can measure how far they have come after we work with them as clients. At the start of every engagement, we ask our clients, “what does success look like to you?” and we work towards achieving those goals,” said the company, adding, “in life, nothing is guaranteed, as we have all seen with the advent of COVID-19, but we can set goals & work towards them.”

Part of what makes BOCA’s coaches great is their own no-fear attitude towards learning. After all, as the company says, “We all live and work in a continually changing environment, so we need to adapt in order to continue adding value to the organizations and people we serve. Continuous learning helps us expand our knowledge and perspectives so that we can sustain our ability to be high performers.”

The company’s offerings--online or in-person, coaching, workshops, or training services--are immersive and experiential, as the company believes that the best way to learn, grow and develop is within an immersive environment where people can fully participate in learning activities. In this safe space, people can try out new techniques to become better communicators, managers, and leaders before taking their new learnings back into the office to implement.

For BOCA, the future includes leveraging partnerships to bring their clients enhanced offerings and greater value. “If there is one thing you learn in business, it’s that you cannot do everything yourself. Leveraging & partnering with others helps reduce development time, and time to market. Most importantly, it provides products & services that you might usually not have provided if you were to do everything yourself.”
