Parents and adult children may live thousands of miles away from one another, separated by different cities, states, or even countries. Often, the demands and pressure of providing care can result in caregiver burnout—a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. CareLineLive was started by Josh Hough after his grandfather fell ill and the information they required about his care was not available. Besides that, the company’s sister IT company, MAS Group, worked with home care agencies so Josh understood the flaws in the home care sector. There was a gap in the market for home care software that was simple to use, flexible, enhanced efficiency, improved growth and fundamentally gave carers more time to care.

Q. Shed light on your Cloud Based Home Care Management System. How does it help Agency Owners and Managers?

CareLineLive is a total home care management system that digitizes a home care agency’s workflows leading to increased productivity and capacity, whilst decreasing costs. Our system enables easy care management, quick rostering, access to real-time information, such as visit verification, and simple invoicing and payroll. Q. How does CareLineLive’s Carer Companion mobile app work?

Carers are at the forefront of our customers’ services and CareLineLive provides them with an intuitive mobile app making sure they are fully informed in real-time about client updates and are more productive. The Carer Companion mobile app provides instant access to rotas and care plans plus safety is improved with secure visit check in and check out. Carer Tasks and eMAR enable carers to provide responsive care as changes in medication can be accessed quickly.

Q. What are the benefits of your eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) solution to home care agencies?

The social care industry was frustrated with complicated eMAR sheets with split cells for codes and initials, so last year we launched our intuitive eMAR solution. Our eMAR is simple to use, where recurring medication and tasks can be set up easily and whose interface feels like second nature, ensuring if there is a problem, it never gets missed. It saves time and ensures carers can deliver responsive care quickly.

Q. Give us an understanding about the organization’s Family & Friends website.

CareLineLive was one of the first software solutions to offer visibility about a relative’s care with our Family & Friends Portal. Its aim is simple: to provide peace of mind to families through 24/7 access to real-time information about a loved one’s carer visits including dates, times and updates.
