Christina Lake Cannabis: Pioneering Excellence in Cannabis Cultivation and Research with State-of-the-Art Facilities, Innovative Strains, and Unparalleled Expertise

Christina Lake Cannabis, operating under the regulations of the Cannabis Act, has obtained a standard cultivation license along with a processing/sales amendment from Health Canada in March 2020 and August 2020, respectively. They have also secured a research and development license in early 2020.

The company's expansive facility spans 32 acres and encompasses more than 950,000 square feet, housing outdoor grow spaces, offices, propagation and drying rooms, as well as cutting-edge research facilities. Additionally, there is a dedicated area within the facility for processing and extraction activities.

Specializing in cultivating cannabis strains tailored for outdoor cultivation, Christina Lake Cannabis achieved a significant milestone in its inaugural harvest year by producing 32,500 kg (71,650 lb.) of cannabis from its existing facility. Subsequently, the company embarked on a strategic expansion initiative, acquiring a 99-acre property adjacent to their existing facility. This expansion project is poised to significantly augment their cultivation capabilities. Once completed, the expanded facility will cover over 4.35 million square feet, enabling the production of more than 88,000 kg (194,007 lb.) of high-quality, sun-grown cannabis annually.

In their locale, Christina Lake Cannabis Corp. benefits from distinct natural advantages that contribute significantly to the quality of their cannabis cultivation:

Lower Elevation: Positioned at 500 meters above sea level, their valley distinguishes itself as one of the lowest in the Kootenay Boundary region. This lower elevation provides a prolonged growing season lasting up to 8 months annually, crucial for nurturing high-quality cannabis plants.

Consistent Breezes: The consistent breeze originating from the southern-facing valley plays a vital role in the structural development of their plants. This airflow supports respiration cycles and acts as a natural pest control method, enhancing the overall health and vitality of their cannabis crops.

Low Precipitation: With an average annual rainfall of 500mm, a significant portion of which (54%) falls during winter; their outdoor crops are protected from excessive moisture. This reduced precipitation minimizes the risk of water damage, mildew, and rot, ensuring the resilience and robustness of their cannabis cultivation.

Ample Sunshine: Their location enjoys abundant sunlight due to the unique characteristics of their latitudinal valley. Prolonged exposure to full-spectrum sunshine is essential for optimal photosynthesis, ensuring the superior growth and potency of their cannabis plants. This natural abundance of sunshine significantly enhances the quality of their harvests.

Protective Valleys: Nestled within a lush, private setting, their initial 32-acre site is shielded from external influences, preserving the purity and integrity of their cannabis cultivation practices. Moreover, the potential for expansion with an additional 99 acres in the vicinity enables them to sustain their high-quality, sustainable cultivation methods, solidifying their position as a leading producer in the cannabis industry.

Nurturing Excellence: A Meticulous Approach to Cannabis Cultivation

In the realm of cannabis cultivation, Christina Lake Cannabis stands as a beacon of expertise, harnessing centuries of combined experience to refine their strains. Their plants have been meticulously bred to not just survive but thrive in their specific locale, where altitude, exposure, and annual rainfall synergize to foster exponential growth.

Their approach involves a meticulous process of replication. With their proprietary genetics securely established, they transform a handful of healthy mother plants into vast expanses of replicas. This strategic replication enables them to accurately predict growth patterns, nutritional requirements, and yield potential, ensuring a sustainable rolling harvest.

Within their sprawling 9,000-square-foot facility equipped with High-Intensity Discharge grow lights, fans, and precisely calibrated nutrient systems, three dedicated hothouses serve as the nurturing grounds for their seedlings and clones. This controlled environment provides an ideal setting for these young plants to flourish before being transferred to the fields.

Every stage of cultivation, from tilling the soil to meticulous pruning and harvesting, demands hands-on attention. Their dedicated cultivation team engages in a multitude of tasks, ensuring each plant realizes its full potential. These experts invest their skills and dedication in the entire process, ensuring the highest quality crops.

Embracing cutting-edge technology, Christina Lake Cannabis Corp. utilizes state-of-the-art drone technology. By employing Near-infrared light, they gain an unprecedented perspective on their entire crop. In mere minutes, they can monitor plant health with incredible precision, identifying potential deficiencies at the earliest stages of development.

While technology offers valuable insights, it can never replace the depth of knowledge and commitment embodied by their Master Growers. These seasoned professionals, with years of immersion in their craft, meticulously monitor the fields daily. Their keen eyes spot vitality, addresses issues, and identifies standout specimens for the subsequent year’s crop.

This seamless blend of advanced technology and seasoned expertise results in a formula for unparalleled success. By amalgamating their site-specific genetics, precise agricultural techniques, and the dedication of their team, Christina Lake Cannabis Corp. consistently achieves remarkable harvests. Their efforts yield an astounding daily harvest of approximately one ton, resulting in over 32,000 kg in 2020 and an impressive 38,000 kg in 2021. This consistent and substantial yield is a testament to their expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence, year after year.
