ComplianceQuest: Our EQMS and EHS Solution Platform – Connected and Unified

Established in 2013, ComplianceQuest is a cloud based Enterprise Quality, Health, Safety and Quality Management Software (QHSE = EQMS + EHS) provider. It was built using Salesforce.com and is a tool for accelerating an organization’s growth from anywhere, anytime and through any device. It empowers enterprises to manage quality and safety by collaborating with their supply chains – whether global or local – and even several layers deep, to stay compliant with industry, country and customer specific regulations. ComplianceQuest provides support across industries but specializes in Consumer Packaged Goods, General Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Oil & Gas.

Acquisition of LifeGuard Solutions

The Tampa-based company announced the acquisition of LifeGuard Solutions, a Salesforce native EHS solution provider. The cost of the acquisition was not revealed by either of the companies. The acquisition came on the heels of a successful $36 million Series A funding round that was led by Insight Partners.

The acquisition happened at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic which shows the health and poise of the business at ComplianceQuest. The integration of LifeGaurd will position ComplianceQuest to have a strong presence among QHSE vendors, complementing its core quality management offering with a comprehensive EHS solution. Considering that LifeGuard is a native Salesforce application, it works seamlessly into ComplianceQuest’s mission to leverage the Salesforce platform and surrounding ecosystem. The addition of LifeGuard Solutions into the ComplianceQuest offering will support entry into new target markets like construction, agriculture, chemical, retail and utilities.

Meet the Leader

Prashanth Rajendran, CEO

Prashanth is responsible for directing ComplianceQuest’s sales, marketing, partnerships, finance, IT, legal and overall company strategy and direction. He has over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and quality.

He was the President and CEO of Lattice Social, a cutting-edge software company for incorporating social media into business-to-business collaboration. For more than 20 years, he reprised the role of co-founder and COO of Pilgrim Software, a Quality Management System software company. He grew the organization from inception to goal of successfully selling the company. He has held a variety of positions in Manufacturing Engineering. He currently serves on several Boards fostering entrepreneurship in the Tampa Bay area. He is active philanthropically in his community, dealing with the needs of orphaned and disadvantaged children and building shelters, toilets and schools in poorly developed countries.

He has an MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India.
